The Problem
Uberplan was a technically strong product with a critical weakness: no identity. The founding team had built a robust project management and planning SaaS but were preparing for a public launch with no cohesive brand, no visual language, and no go-to-market strategy. They needed everything — from a name they could stand behind to a visual system that would scale across their web app, mobile product, marketing site, and social channels — in under 8 weeks before their seed funding announcement.
The Solution
Markave Agency took a research-first approach, conducting a thorough competitive audit of the productivity SaaS landscape (Notion, Linear, Asana, Monday.com) to identify white space. We found an opportunity: most productivity tools leaned either enterprise-cold or playful-startup. Uberplan's audience — high-performing teams at growth-stage companies — needed something sharper.
We developed a brand system anchored in precision and momentum: a clean wordmark with custom letterforms, a tightly constrained color palette (deep navy with an electric cyan accent), and a motion language built around progress and flow. The design system was delivered in Figma with 120+ components, light and dark modes, and detailed usage documentation.
Alongside the visual work, we built a full go-to-market strategy covering positioning, messaging hierarchy, launch campaign structure, and a 90-day content calendar.
Deliverables
"Markave didn't just design our brand — they helped us understand who we are and how to talk to our users. The system they built has scaled perfectly as we've grown from 200 to 15,000 users."
